How Vinicio Painting Started

How Vinicio Painting Started

Vinicio Nunez beside his work van
“We don’t put a finish on a wall we wouldn’t put on our own home.”
— The Nunez family standard, since 1999

Vinicio Nunez came to Miami from the Dominican Republic, picked up a brush, and learned the trade the hard way — no mentor, no shortcuts, one job at a time. He filed Vinicio Painting Corp in 1999 because he was tired of working for crews that cut prep corners and disappeared on warranty calls. The first big jobs were exterior repaints on Miami Beach high-rises — work that taught him swing-stage discipline, salt-air paint chemistry, and how to read a stucco wall in tropical weather.

Twenty-five years later, his son Yohan runs the day-to-day. Same neighborhood, same family, same standard. Vinicio is still on the books, still the qualifier on Florida License #99BS00336. What hasn’t changed is the rule the family worked under from day one: we don’t put a finish on a wall we wouldn’t put on our own home.

The handoff didn’t happen overnight. Yohan grew up on Vinicio’s jobsites — taping baseboard, masking off bathrooms, watching his father read a stucco wall the way a doctor reads an X-ray. By the time he took over phone calls and walk-throughs, he’d already spent a decade learning the trade from the qualifier on the license. The crew is built the same way: foremen with 15+ years on the trowel and brush, painters trained the way Vinicio was trained — one job at a time, no shortcuts.

The Standards That Haven't Changed — Vinicio Painting
How We Work

The Standards That Haven't Changed In 25 Years

Same Crew, Start To Finish

Our standard project crew is two painters supervised by a foreman with 15+ years on the trowel and brush. The same crew that masks off your living room on day one is the crew that walks the punch list with you on the last day. No day-labor swaps, no sub-rotation.

Brand Spec Named At The Estimate

Every estimate names the brand and product line by surface — Sherwin-Williams Emerald, Duration, Loxon stucco primer, Conflex elastomeric, Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel. Sherwin-Williams Pro+ tier on every job. Brand-flexible on request — we apply Benjamin Moore Aura, Element Guard, ScuffX, or whatever the customer prefers.

You Don't Pay Until The Job Is Done

Our completion promise is simple: you don't pay the balance unless the work is done to the agreed scope. Final payment is due at the post-job walk-through, after the punch list is closed. We don't ask for the balance up front.

Bilingual At Every Step

Three of every four inbound calls come in Spanish. Walk-throughs, estimates, contracts, change orders, warranty docs — all available in English or Spanish. Vinicio came from the Dominican Republic. Yohan grew up bilingual. The crew is bilingual.

Seven Reasons — Vinicio Painting
Why Choose Us

Seven Reasons Hialeah Homeowners Pick Vinicio

1

One Florida License — Paint, Waterproofing & Concrete

Most Miami-Dade painters carry a painting license and sub out anything below the topcoat. License #99BS00336 covers all three under one qualifier — so stucco repair, balcony coating, and spall work happen with the same crew, insurance, and accountability as the paint.

2

Honest Scope — We Walk Away From Work That Doesn't Need To Happen

If your trim is fine and only the walls need refreshing, we quote walls only. Yohan has talked customers out of full repaints with three-to-five good years left. That math costs us a job sometimes — it earns us a referral every time.

3

Sherwin-Williams Pro+ — And Brand-Flexible When You Ask

Pro+ tier gets us SW Emerald, Duration, SuperPaint, Loxon primer, and Conflex elastomeric — products built for Miami sun, humidity, and salt air. Prefer Benjamin Moore Aura, Element Guard, or ScuffX? We'll apply it. A real policy, not a brochure line.

4

We've Worked The Buildings Other Painters Won't Bid

Swing-stage exterior work in salt-air conditions on luxury Miami Beach and Surfside towers is where Vinicio built the crew. Tower property manager, HOA board, or homeowner with a four-story home that needs lift access — you're not bringing the work into a learning curve.

5

Two-Painter Teams, Same Crew Start To Finish

Standard crew: two painters supervised by a foreman with 15+ years on the trowel and brush. The same crew masks off your living room on day one and walks the punch list on the last day. No day-labor swaps, no sub-rotation.

6

Bilingual Office — 75% Of Our Calls Come In Spanish

Vinicio came from Dominican Republic. Yohan grew up bilingual. The crew is bilingual. Three of every four calls land in Spanish, and the answer is in Spanish — including contracts, change orders, warranty docs, and the post-job walk-through.

7

Completion Guarantee — You Don't Pay Until The Job Is Done

We don't ask for the balance up front. The promise is simple: if the work isn't done to the agreed scope, you don't pay the balance. Final payment is due at the post-job walk-through, after the punch list is closed.
